Pharmacy & Self-Care
Pharmacy
Pharmacists are qualified healthcare professionals who can offer clinical advice, over the counter medicines to effectively and safely manage a range of minor health concerns. They can also help you to decide whether you'll need to see a doctor. You don't need an appointment and you won't even be asked to make a purchase. Every pharmacy also has a private consultation area for you to talk about your symptoms in private if you prefer.
Lambeth Pharmacy First Plus scheme
The Pharmacy First Plus scheme provides professional health care advice, treatments, and medicines for common illnesses from selected Lambeth pharmacies to those most in need. If you are eligible, medicines recommended for you by the pharmacist are offered free of charge.

Appointment Type
So we can provide a safe and responsive service, we offer appointments online, by telephone and face to face.
Many conditions can be dealt with very well via telephone. Patients regularly have their care managed through these types of appointments, if appropriate. There are times when you may prefer have an in person appointment, and the clinician may also feel this is needed.
The Practice operates a system to ensure the Face to Face appointments with a Doctor are kept for sickest and our most complex patients, the patients who need them most. Telephone appointments may not be suitable for everyone and should you need a physical examination or blood test, for example, we will ask you to come in.
You may be provided with an appointment, with any one of our healthcare team which best meets your needs. The Practice offers a variety of appointments with highly skilled clinicians who can help with your care.
This team of highly skilled clinicians includes: Pharmacist, Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Nurse, Health Care Assistant, Physiotherapist (First Contact – FCP), Social Prescriber or Doctor (GP).
You may also be signposted to services away from the Practice. This may include attending your local Pharmacy, or other local healthcare service (e.g. podiatry, minor eye care, talking therapies), that you may be able to self-refer to.
To speak to us please telephone 020 8670 2414.
Our phone line is open Monday to Friday. Please be aware that we are closed on bank holidays. See our events and closures page to learn more.
Sickness Certificates (Fit Notes)
You must give your employer a doctor's 'fit note' (sometimes called a 'sick note') if you've been ill for more than 7 days in a row and have taken sick leave. This includes non-working days, such as weekends and bank holidays.

Home Visits
Please be aware that we follow the national guidelines which states that home visits are made at the discretion of the doctors and are made where the clinical situation requires it.
Lack of transport is not usually a satisfactory reason for a home visit. Children should be brought to the surgery.
If you need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 10:30am.
Telephone: 020 8670 2414
All of our staff carry identification badges. Please ensure that you check this before letting anyone into your home.
Receptionists will ask for as much information as possible in order that the requests can be given the necessary priority.
There is no obligation to visit, but preference is usually given to the elderly and disabled. Examination of patients is safer, usually far more satisfactory and complete in the surgery where there is the provision of good lighting and the necessary equipment.
Choice of Doctor
Wherever possible we will try to accommodate your choice of Doctor. This is dependent when they are on duty and whether they have appointments available.
Important
All Doctors, along with all members of the clinical team have access to your medical records and therefore can assist you, even if the Doctor you wish to see is unavailable.
Change or Cancel an Appointment
Please give us as much notice as possible so we can offer your appointment to someone else.
Patients who continuously fail to turn up for their appointments may be asked to find an alternative GP Practice.
